What started out as a curiosity became an interest, became a passion, became a pursuit, became a job, and ultimately, remained all of those things at once.

 

Pause. Rewind. Play. It was my twenties.

 

I was working in the restaurant industry at the time but thinking that I needed to be in a field that allowed me to tell stories and be creative.

 

Eventually I bugged local ace photographer and videographer, Jay Ashcroft, enough that he became a great bud and mentor.

 

While I worked at the restaurant, Jay would give me the odd job assisting him on shoots, and as you can imagine, it opened my eyes up to the possibilities ahead. 

 

Jay ended up hiring me after about a year and change and since then I’ve learned a lot.

Over the past 3+ years, I’ve primarily done photography, videography, copywriting and social media management for Four32 Media clients, and guess what? I still do! 

 

I’ve got a great job and I get to work with a really talented entrepreneur in a creative field who pushes me forward.

 

I also run my own business, Jon Lepp Media, applying everything I’ve learned about marketing and content creation to my videography and photography for my clients.
